About this session

The future involves understanding that a prosthesis we have invented, technology, has determined our historical development as a species for some 30,000 years… but for the last century and growing exponentially, this technology is increasingly getting closer to being considered magic and taking on roles that were previously only associated with human beings.

This future scenario confronts us with a crossroads: the machine, which is now intelligent and makes decisions, will eventually replace us… but what if this is a definitive opportunity to become more human instead?!

Pedro Enríquez de Salamanca, “Furby”, holds more than 20 years of experience. He began as an animation scriptwriter and animator-programmer and he became an advertising creative, retail thinker, brand consultant, specialist in the creative use of technologies, strategic designer, new business inspirer, speculative and futures designer, innovation scholar, and creative researcher as well as one of those responsible for launching WANDER, a particular grain of sand in the necessary movement to re-humanise business and its impact.
